Rocket Knight Adventures
Konami was king of the 8 and 16 bit era. They pumped out so many hits, I'd argue they have a better collection of games from that era than first party Sega and Nintendo games.
Rocket Knight was just another game cementing their status. You would think a generic platformer with an animal mascot would turn out to be a dud. Konami could do no wrong though. The game was fun and engaging with its mechanics and non stop action. Giant robot fights, shooter stages, and animated bosses rounded out the diverse gameplay, making this an all time classic.
